Like so many young people of our time, Art was desensitized to comedy by
traumatic childhood experiences by woefully not funny sitcoms including Full
House, The Wonder Years, and Charles in Charge. The sound of laugh tracks ringing
in his ears eventually drove the last vestiges of humor from his body, and he
did not actually laugh out loud from 1992 until 2001, when he saw Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill
for the first time. He has not stopped laughing since.
